Barry Zito Talks Legendary MLB Career, New Book, and Life in Music!

Barry Zito, 2002 AL Cy Young Award winner and two-time World Series Champion, joins the show! We discussed his new book, entitled Curveball, which details Barry’s mental struggles throughout his 15-year MLB career. We also talked about him being left off of the 2010 San Francisco Giants postseason roster, and how that moment made him realize that he needed to make a change. Later in the interview, Barry takes a look back on the 2012 season, including his start against Justin Verlander in Game 1 of the World Series, while also explains the reasoning behind his 2015 comeback.
